4-H Decorating Cakes

I am late getting this out, but as they say "Better late than never." For our last meeting one of the parents, who does an amazing job decorating cakes, came in and taught the kids some cake decorating skills.

First, she showed the kids how to frost the cakes and the different techniques to decorate them.  She also brought along some pictures of her "artwork".

Then she had the kids practice on sheets of laminated paper.

After practicing, the fun began: it was time to decorate their own cupcakes.
