I had a bit of fun shopping this week. Remember when I said I would never purchase a box of cereal again? Well, never say never, because I did. A local store had a buy 3 for $7.44, which in my opinion is not a good deal, but they also had receive a free gallon of milk with the 3 cereal purchase. Well, I would purchase the milk anyway and if you subtracted the milk from the cereal ($7.44-$3.46) the cereal then came to $3.98. Still a bit high for my tight budge. I then went on line to Kellogg's website and printed out 3 $.50 coupons. The store then doubled the coupons - $3.00 off - and now the 3 boxes of cereal cost me a total of $.98. Not bad.
Our stockpile of meat is still quite large, but I am running low on chicken breasts and will purchase those if they come on sale. I may take a look at Azure this month to see what's on sale. I do need gluten in the next few months and sometime soon I will order from them.
